Mazie Caswell

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Mazie Caswell, 87, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. William Buddy Howard officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 2:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday; and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Mrs. Caswell died at 4:25 a.m., Monday, June 9, 2014 in the Jeff Davis Living Center. Mrs. Caswell was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Her ministry was sending cards to everyone she ever met on special occasions. She loved her children and grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Neal and husband Edward of Welsh; three sons, Bob Caswell and wife Pam of Jennings, Jerry Caswell and wife Patsy of Jennings, Lee Caswell and wife Kris of Welsh; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Eve Istre Benoit, her husband Elead Caswell, her sister Zula Hoffpauir and three brothers, JD, AC, Ben and Nuggie Benoit.
