Jennings Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Fontenot, 64, will be held on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2008 with a Prayer Service and rosary being held at 7:00 p.m. Monday visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Fontenot died Friday, September 26, 2008 at 1:55 p.m. in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Fontenot was a native and lifelong resident of Jennings. She was a retired nursing home housekeeper. Mrs. Fontenot is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Benoit of Jennings and Mrs. Richard (Carolyn) Neal of Roanoke; two sons, Rocky James and Penny Fontenot of Welsh and Cleveland Paul Fontenot, III of Jennings; her loving friend and companion, Kenneth Broussard; two sisters, Earline Young of Carlyss and Marjorie Granger of Oberlin; two brothers, Larson LeBlanc of Mermentau and Lee Jean LeBlanc of Baton Rouge and a special son , Allen LeDoux, Jr of Jennings. Mrs. Fontenot was preceded in death by her parents, Estus and Eva Ringuet LeBlanc; her husband, Cleveland Paul Fontenot, Sr., a daughter, Mary Lou Fontenot and a son-in-law, David Benoit. Pallbearers will be Rocky Fontenot, Paul Fontenot, Ricky Neal, Jr. LeDoux, Richard Neal, Jr., and Jessie Fontenot.
