Funeral services for Miss Mary Agnes Benoit, 85, of Jennings will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Susil Fernando officiating.  Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Miss Benoit will begin on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel and it will end at 1: 30 p.m. for the procession to the church.

Miss Benoit worked as a bookkeeper in the agriculture industry.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending her time with her family and neighbors.

She is survived by a sister, Alice Roy of Jennings; three nephews, David Peeler of Jennings, Richard Roy of Jennings and Yancey Roy of Albany, New York.

Miss Benoit was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Elgie Duhon Benoit and a sister, Virgie Peeler.
