Marvin Richard

Marvin Lynn Richard, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Lake Arthur on December 21, 2024, at the age of 70. A hardworking man and a true jack-of-all-trades, Marvin was known for his love of the outdoors and the countless hours he spent in his shop, crafting beautiful pieces of woodwork. His creativity and dedication to his craft were matched only by those who were devoted to his family.

Marvin is survived by his beloved wife, Phyllis Richard; his two daughters, Jessica Robinson (Tommy Carroll) and Kristy Dellinger (Matt Dellinger); and his five grandchildren; three grandsons; Ryan Richard, Ketcher Boehm, and Jeffery Robinson, Jr.; and two granddaughters, Nevaeh Robinson and Marlo Dellinger.

Marvin's legacy is built on love, hard work and countless memories he created with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mom and stepfather; Nedia Martin and Nolan Martin; father; Lezime Richard; brother; Sidney Richard.

A memorial will be held at Marvin's home at a later date for family and friends to gather, celebrate his life, and share the stories that made him unforgettable.
