Funeral services for Ms. Martha Evelyn Lewis, 54, of the Lafayette and Lake Charles areas, will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Father Charles McMillin officiating.  Burial will follow in Shell Beach Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Born to Anna Lee Vincent and David Lewis Jr,.  She worked in distribution sales and service.  In what most made her happy was spoiling her adoring children and grandchildren. 

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2018 in the Lake Arthur Chapel and will continue until time of service.

Martha will be forever missed by many.  Some of whom are her loving children Tiffani Baugh Eaves and her husband Coye of Elton, La and Clay Eric Delahoussaye, his wife Kristi Delahoussaye of Lafayette, La as well as those who she loved as her own Nakia Powdrell and husband Harshari and Lucretia Carter of Carencro.  Ms.  Lewis also leaves behind her beloved sister Tina Lewis Comeaux and her husband Faron of Delcambre, La as well as her three ‘sisters of the heart’ Donna Knight Baugh of Abbeville, La, Nancy Barker of Lafayette, La and Anita Carter of Carencro, La.  Also feeling this loss are Ms. Lewis’ brothers David F. Lewis, III of Abbeville and former wife Michelle; Dwayne “Steve” Lewis and his wife Cheryl of Erath, La.  Half-siblings Sundra, Moondra, Charles and Kayla.  Perhaps missing Martha most are her five beloved grandchildren John “Deuce” Naumann II, Natalie Mae Eaves, Chloe Bree Eaves, Cole Delaboussaye and Kenzie Delahoussaye by whom she was lovingly referred to as Nana or Nuah.

Ms. Lewis was preceded in death by her Mother Anna Lee Vincent, father David Lewis Jr, two brothers Preston Lewis and Demery Trahan and her beloved grandmother Adela Vincent.
