Marshall Guidry

It is with wonderful memories, yet sad hearts that we announce the death of our loved one, Marshall Ray Guidry, 46, of Lake Arthur, Louisiana.

Mr. Guidry was born on April 12, 1976, to parents Allen Ray and Sybil Ann Benoit Guidry.  He was a lifelong resident of Jennings.  He worked as a carpenter.  Mr. Guidry was a hard worker and made an impact on everyone who met him.  He was a family man who loved spending time with his family.  He also enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting and being on the water fishing.  He was a good friend to many and was always ready with a helping hand for whoever was in need.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 26 years, Heather Guidry of Jennings; daughter, Anna Guidry; sons, Ryan Guidry of Wisconsin, Caleb Guidry of Jennings, and Alex Fontenot of Welsh; sisters, Julie Guidry and Crystal Donnell; one grandchild, Bjorn Guidry; forever brother-in-law, Tony Duhon; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Emily Guidry, and a brother Kenneth Guidry.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home.
