Marsha Ewalt Black, 77, died at 10:55 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2015 in the Harbor Hospital in Lake Charles.

Mrs. Black’s wishes were to be cremated.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 26, 2015 in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh with Rev. Walter Parker officiating.

Mrs. Black graduated from the Jennings High School, class of 1956. She served in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired cosmetologist.

Survivors include three brothers, Carl Ewalt and Timothy Ewalt both of Bentonville, AR, Charles Ewalt of Bryon, OH; Aunt, Dorothy Earl, many cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Elsworth and Lucille Earl Ewalt; one son, Anthony “Tony” Lee Black; and one sister, Joyce Wilson.

Arrangements are under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
