Margaret Trahan

Margaret Trahan, 79, passed away on August 21, 2024, in Crowley, LA.

Mrs. Trahan was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker.

Margaret is survived by her 2 daughters and son-in-law, Michele (Donnie) Trahan and Renee Morgan, both of Crowley; son, Christopher Trahan of Carencro; brother, David Sonnier; Grandchildren, Alicia Trahan-McDaniel, Jonathon Morgan, Zackary Morgan, Matthew Trahan, Sommer Trahan, Devin Trahan, great grandchildren, Maddalyn Trahan, Raelynn Trahan, Gatlin Trahan, Ansleigh Morgan, Harper Morgan, Eleanor Morgan, Kameron Morgan, Sophie McDaniel and Emma McDaniel.

Margaret is preceded in death by her father, Louis Tall, mother, Mary Istre, husband, Buford Trahan, 5 sisters, Barbara "Bobbie" Williams, Cecilia Foreman, Rita Baker, Ella Duplechain, Rosalie Abshire; 3 brothers, Leon, Johnny and Carl Duplechain, and great grandson, Grant Taylor Trahan.

The family is following Mrs. Trahan's wishes of cremation.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the wonderful care provided by Southwind Nursing Home and Lamm Hospice.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.
