JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Thibodeaux Tuthill, 86, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2012 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday; and 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Tuthill was a native of Crowley and a 50+ year resident of Jennings. She was a high school graduate and a retired secretary for G.P. Modlish. She was a member Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Altar Society of OLHC Church, served on the Jennings Carnegie Public Library Board, and belonged to the Genealogy Club. She was also an organizing charter member of the Live Oak DAR and served as its first registrar. Survivors include three daughters, Carroll (Donald) Guidry of T-Mamou, Barbara (Robert) Doucet and Deborah Vincent both of Jennings; two sisters, Mamie Barousse and Betty Kober both of Lafayette, one brother, Paul Thibodeaux of Crowley; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Tuthill was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Olive Roussel Thibodeaux, her husband, William K. Tuthill, sisters, Irene Pizzo, Lucille John, Juanita Thibodeaux and one brother, Harry Thibodeaux.
