Malinda Ann Hurst

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Malinda Ann Guidry Hurst, 47, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Masters officiating. Burial will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Tuesday; and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. A rosary led by Nella Cormier will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Hurst died at her residence in Jennings. Mrs. Hurst was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur/Jennings area. She was a graduate of the Lake Arthur High School class of 1980. Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Hurst; two sons, Aaron Jack Hurst, Hunter Cale Hurst both of Jennings; her father, Mr. A.J. Guidry, Jr. of Lake Arthur; three sisters, Wanda Chaisson of Hathaway, Brenda OBlanc of Lake Arthur and Shyla Manuel of Lake Arthur; two brothers, Randol Guidry and Gary Guidry of Lake Arthur and Chad Guidry of Pasadena, Texas. Pallbearers are Randol Guidry, Alex OBlanc, Gary Guidry, Chad Guidry, Hunter Hurst, and Aaron Hurst. Honorary Pallbearers are Hayden LeGros, Gordan OBlanc, Gary Guidry, Jr. Gavin Guidry, Josh Guidry, Jacob Guidry, Cody Guidry, Garrett Guidry, Chris Gary and Stewart Gary.
