Graveside funeral services for Mr. Lynn Chester Conner,76. will be held at 11:00a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 at Andrus Cove Cemetery with Rev. Charles McMillin Officiating.

Mr. Conner lived in Jennings for 15 years, moving here from Geismar, LA. He was self employed where he owned numerous businesses. He was a member of the Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, Knights of Columbus, Elks Lodge, Chianina Association and the United Suffolk Sheep Association. He enjoyed spending his time duck hunting, spending time with family and friends and traveling throughout the United States.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joyce Trahan Conner; two daughters, Connie Conner Meyer and husband Todd of Baton Rouge, Cindy Conner Luquette and husband Todd of Geismar, LA; two sisters, Esther Mae Guillory, Shirley Mouton; one brother, Hewitt Conner; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Mr. Conner is preceded in death by his parents, Amada and Amadia Guillory Conner; one son, Chris Conner; four brothers, Landry, Cliff, Elias and Ernest Conner, and four sisters, Zilda Bourgeois, Veola Broussard, Viviana Marchantel and Jessie Hymel.
