Luke Ryan Steelman

Luke Ryan Steelman entered this world into the arms of his parents, Ryan and Jordan Steelman on February 12, 2021. After 12 beautiful hours of love and comfort, he returned to the arms of Jesus in the early morning of Saturday, February 13, 2021.

Although his time on earth was brief, Luke left a loving imprint forever on the hearts of his parents; brother Ben Caswell Steelman; Godparents Matthew and Aryn Bellard; maternal grandparents, Ricky and Chris Bellard; paternal grandparents, Amy Sarver, Kyle and Sara Steelman; paternal great grandfather Gene Dudoit; paternal great grandmother Katherine Taylor, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Luke Ryan was preceded by maternal great grandparents B.H. and Willie McMullen, Wayne and Minnie Bellard; paternal great grandparents Catherine “Kitty” Dudoit and Elwyn Steelman.

Visitation is scheduled for  Monday, February 22, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Carlyss, 5009 Hwy. 27 South from 5-7pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Sulphur, 2700 Maplewood Drive. Father Tim Goodly of Immaculate Conception and Father Michael Caraway of Prompt Succor will officiate.

Luke will be laid to rest in a private, family burial at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or the family will be greatly appreciated.
