Lucia "Lucy" Hargrove

Jennings Funeral services for Mrs. Lucia “Lucy” Bergeaux Hargrove, 99 will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Bill Armstrong will be the officiant. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation hours will be Monday, January 26, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Hargrove died Friday, January 23, 2015 at 5:25 p.m. in the Jeff Davis Living Center. She was a native of Evangeline and lifelong resident of Jennings. Mrs. Hargrove was a member of the First Baptist Church, loved to garden, play cards with her friends and enjoyed baking cookies for her neighbors. Mrs. Hargrove is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andeol and Adam Jean Bergeaux, her husband W.M. (Red) Hargrove, five sisters; Stella McFarlain Clay. Clemence Regan, Lucy Klumpp, Emma Daigle and Celestine Fontenot, six brothers; Adam, Frozen, Alfred, Julian, Simon and Richard Bergeaux
