LAKE ARTHUR

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Loudella Vincent Monceaux, 84, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Babasino Fernandes officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur.

Funeral home visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Sunday; and 8:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Mrs. Monceaux died at 6:29 p.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016 in the Gueydan Memorial Guest Home.

Mrs. Monceaux was lifelong resident of the Lake Arthur/Gueydan area. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and also the Catholic Daughters and Ladies Altar Society.

She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Breaux and husband Sandy, Annette Vincent and husband Lawrence; two sons, Frank Monceaux and wife Debra, Logan Monceaux and wife Cokie, all of Gueydan; one sister, Bertha M. Elliott of Lake Charles; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ada Bournes Vincent and her husband Irvin J. Monceaux.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Monceaux’s nine grandsons.
