Lorma Duhon Lebrun

Lorma Duhon LeBrun, 91, met her loving father and savior Saturday, February 20, 2021.

She was married to Roland LeBrun Sr. for 70 years. Lorma was born to Jimmy and Mamnie Duhon of Westlake, LA on May 2, 1929.

Those left to cherish her memory are her 4 children, Roland LeBrun Jr. and wife Anita, Charlotte Carruth and husband Dennis, Jerry LeBrun and wife Ann, and Sharon Dunham and husband Randy; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; and one loving sibling, Clara May Smith.

She is preceded in death by Jay Duhon, Sadie Leach, Jane Louvierre.

She was a lifelong member of Houston River Baptist Church and dearly loved her Sunday school class. Lorma loved her flowers and loved sharing them with people. We have no doubt that if there are weeds anywhere in god’s gardens, she will be pulling them out.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Houston River Baptist Church building fund in memory of Mrs. Lorma LeBrun.

The family respectfully asks that visitors wear masks and practice social distancing, adhering to local regulations regarding COVID-19. 

Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Farquhar Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Carlyss. Burial will be at Farquhar Cemetery.
