JENNINGS ” Services for Loretta (Leta) G. Gary, 95, will be held Monday, April 6, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at Miguez Funeral Home with Msgr. Ronald Groth and Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. She died peacefully Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 8:30- a.m., in the comfort of her daughters (Geneva) home. A rosary will be recited by Elaine Hardy and Mammie Gillard on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Miguez Funeral Home. The interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Gary was a lifelong resident of the Jennings-Hathaway area. She raised her family and later in life she worked as a salesclerk at Morgan & Lindsays and Nichols Department Store. She loved sewing, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Geneva Daigle (Robert) Menard of Jennings; her son, Daniel (Erma) Gary of Lafayette; one son-in-law, Henry Myers, Jr. of Jennings; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Gary; her son, Arvie (AJ) Gary; her daughter, Dorothy (Dot) Myers; her parents, Luke and Roseline Guillotte, and a son-in-law, Herbert Daigle. Pallbearers include, Barrett Menard, Trevor Deaville, Tyler Mitchell, Kenny Menard, Robert Menard and Wayne Fruge. Honorary pallbearers include, Jeremy Fruge, Tanner Manuel, Brent Manuel, Mark Menard, Dannon Campbell, Garrett Menard, and Greg Gary. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 5, 2009, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.; and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., time of services, Monday, April 6, 2009. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
