Lorena Mary Lejeune

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mrs. Lorena Vincent LeJeune, 84, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2009 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Shell Beach Cemetery under direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., today, Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., today, Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. LeJeune died at 6:05 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in the St. Patricks Hospital in Lake Charles. Mrs. LeJeune was a resident of Lake Arthur for 45 plus years. She was a homemaker and a past member of the Ladies Altar Society, Catholic Daughters, Cancer Survivors Group and the YaYa Sisters of Lake Arthur. Survivors include one son, Rodney LeJeune and wife Kathy of Lake Charles; two sisters, Eula Suire of Gueydan, Ita Bourque of Lake Arthur; three grandchildren, Chad LeJeune and his wife, Maureen, Holly LeJeune, Jude LeJeune and fiance Kristen Howerton; and three great grandchildren, Bradley LeJeune, Kara Brady and Austin Duhon; 13 nieces and nephews, 30 great nieces and nephews, nine great great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Theo and Elia David Vincent; her first husband, Edgar LeJeune, one sister, Irene Monlezun and one brother, Manson Vincent. The family would like to express their grateful appreciation to Angie Theunissen, Brenda Gary and her close friends.
