Lillian L. Dugas

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Dugas, 84, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 9, 2011 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., Sunday, January 8th; and 8:00 a.m. Monday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Dugas died at 9:30 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2011 in the Rosewood Nursing Home in Lake Charles. Mrs. Dugas was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and was a cafeteria worker. She devoted most of her time working and helping at St. Maria Goretti. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Semmes and husband Joe of Hathaway; four sons, Gerald Dugas and wife Tonya of Lafayette, Donald and Charles Dugas both of Lake Arthur, Carroll Dugas and wife Barbara of Lake Charles; one brother, Andrus LeJeune of Jennings; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dugas was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Azetile Brunner LeJeune; and her husband, Mr. Alcee Dugas. Pallbearers will be Joe Semmes, Lance Dugas, Garrett Dugas, Daron Dugas, Andrew Semmes and Brent LeJeune.
