Levine R. Romero

It is with great sadness the family of Mrs. Levine Richard Romero, 92, of Jennings announces her passing from this life to the next. Private services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Father Trey Ange officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

In lieu of visitation LiveStream services will be broadcast on the Miguez Funeral Home Facebook page at 11:00 a.m.

Mrs. Romero enjoyed reading the newspaper, working word puzzles, and playing Bingo; however, her favorite pastime was babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a devoted member of Our Lady Help of Christian’s Catholic Church, the Ladies Altar Society and Catholic Daughters. She also served her community as a Pink Lady.

Those left to cherish her memory are two sons and their wives, Michael and Sharon Romero and Richard and Anna Romero, all of Jennings. She is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 48 years, Hampton J. Romero and her parents, Semar and Aglace LeBlanc Richard.
