Leora Taylor Gearen

JENNINGS Graveside services for Mrs. Leora Taylor Gearen, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 7, 2009 in the Greenwood Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Leora Taylor Gearen passed away at 12:15 P.M. Friday, October 30, 2009 at the age of 98 in a hospital in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Gearen and only son Lt. Frank Robert Gearen. She is survived by two grandchildren. David Gearen Ellerbe of Houston, Texas and Donna Gearen Glenn of Pottsboro, Texas. Four great grandchildren; Daniel, David and Katie Glenn and Nicholas Ellerbe. She is also survived by daughter in law Loretta Ellerbe, niece Trallis Tupper and family. The family would like to extend special thanks to Trallis and great niece Joy Dykes for the loving care they gave to Leora in her last years. Also thanks to the staff Garden Park Nursing Facility for their care and love.
