Funeral Services for Mr. Leonard “Leo” Nicholas, 46 of Iota will be held Tuesday July 20, 2021, in St. Josephs Church in Evangeline, LA at 10:00 a.m. with Father Paul LaFleur officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Monday July 19, 2021, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mr. Leonard was born July 10, 1975, to Richard and Betty Vancil Nicholas in Beaumont, Tx. Leonard was a resident of Iota, LA and was a graduate of Iota High School. He enjoyed riding ATV’s and traveling around.

He is survived by his mother; Betty Vancil Nicholas; sister, Angela (John) Mire of Bayou Chicot, LA; brother Billy (Tina) Nicholas of Gillis, LA; two nephews, Andrew Mire and Allen Brunet.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Nicholas.
