Lena Opal Temple

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Opal Hayward Temple, 94, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2008 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Milliron officiating. Entombment will be in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Funeral home visitation was from 2:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday; and 8:00 a.m., today, Sunday until time of services. Mrs. Temple died at 7:00 a.m. Friday, December 26, 2008 at her daughters residence in Lafayette. Mrs. Temple was a native of Erie, Kansas, and a resident of Jennings since 1956 moving here from Mt. Vernon, Indiana. She was a member of the Jennings United Methodist Church. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Della) Bonnette of Lafayette and Mrs. Frank (Karen) Matte of Houston; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents, Ula and Leona Hayward, her husband Ralph Cleo Temple and one son, Darrell Temple.
