Lena Mae Guidry

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Mae Hebert Guidry, 88, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 2, 2010 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., today, Wednesday; and 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services. A rosary led by Melanie Hoffpauir will be recited at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Guidry died at 2:30 p.m., Monday, November 29, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Guidry was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a graduate of Gueydan High School. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and Our Lady of the Lake Altar Society. Survivors include two daughters, Vickie LeGros of Burkeville, TX and Jocelyn Guidry of Clinton, Pa; one son, Timothy Guidry of Jennings; one sister, Zora Hanks of Morse; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Guidry was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Eugene Guidry; her parents, Gustave and Estelle LeLeux Hebert; one daughter, Deborah Guidry Armentor; one son, Darryl Guidry; two sisters, Vivian Besch and Daisy Broussard; two brothers, Andrus Hebert and Chester Hebert; one grandchild, Brandi Lynn LeGros and one great-grandchild, Zachary Armentor.
