Lee J Leblanc

Funeral services for Mr. Lee J. LeBlanc, 82 of Jennings will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jeremy LeGros officiating.  Burial will follow in Bertrand Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. LeBlanc will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, and continue until 9:00 p.m.  It will resume on Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. 

Lee Jean LeBlanc was born on September 22, 1939 to Estus and Eva Ringuet LeBlanc.  He went home on January 23, 2022, at 2:00 a.m.  He was the 8^th child of a family of 10 children.

Mr. LeBlanc was a “jack of all trades”; he could build and fix anything.  He worked as a farmer and at Davidson Sash & Door building houses.  He also worked in the oil field.   Mr. LeBlanc loved Cajun music, playing his accordion and dancing.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are two daughters, Connie (Joey) LeGros and Becky (Robbie) Fruge; six grandchildren, Jeremy LeGros, Cassie (Jessica) LeGros, Ashley (Jerrod) Benoit, Megan (Marcus) Boudreaux, Shannon (Dusty) Fontenot and Shaina Fruge; twelve great grandchildren; a brother, Larson (Gail) LeBlanc and a sister, Earline Young.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Lebrasa; Olibert, Jr., Red (Dave) LeBlanc; three sisters, Vera Crochet, Margie Granger and Mary Lou Fontenot; his wife, Charlotte and the mother of his children, Beulah Marcantel.

Pall Bearers for Mr. LeBlanc will be Joey LeGros, Robbie Fruge, Cassie LeGros, Larson LeBlanc, Gabe Sonnier, Joshua LeGros and Alex LeGros.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Maddox Boudreaux, Hayden Fontenot, Grayson Fontenot and Deuce Benoit.
