Larry Wittge

Larry Ray Wittge, 81, of Iota, LA, passed away on October 22, 2024, in his home surrounded by his family. Born in Houston, TX on July 5, 1943, Larry was a loving husband to Juanita Wittge and a devoted father to his children Dana, Randal, Stacy, and Tobey.

Larry, a skilled boilermaker in the oil and gas industry, valued time spent with family. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished the moments they shared together. Larry had a passion for collecting coins and guns and always enjoyed going to town.

Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service at Miguez Funeral Home on October 25, 2024, at 3:00 pm, with a public viewing beginning at 9:00 am on the same day. Following the service, Larry will be laid to rest at Gatte Cemetery in Iota.

Larry will be dearly missed by his loved ones, but his memory will live on in their hearts forever.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years Juanita Miller Wittge; daughters, Stacy Wittge, Dana (Tim) Gatte; sons, Randal and Tobey Wittge; grandchildren, Lacie Hebert, Jessica Wittge, Tami Courville, Bryant Wittge, Tanner Wittge, Lexi Wittge, Kylie Gatte, Kyler Gatte, Kyndal Gatte; great grandchildren, Slayder, Sawyer, Schyler, Prestley, Raygan, Rayvn, Chaiselyn, Landyn, Addison, and Jordan.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Beatrice Ferguson Wittge; grandson, Landon Hebert; brother Paul Wittge; and sister Ruby Wright.

Pallbeares will be Kyler Gatte, Kyndal Gatte, Tanner Wittge, Tim Gatte, Randal Wittge, Danny Gatte and Bryant Wittge.
