November 21, 1949 — April 8, 2021

It is with great sorrow that the family of Mr. Larry Paul Landry, 71, of Lake Arthur announces his passing on Thursday, April 8, 2021.

Larry Paul (as he was known to all) was born on November 21, 1949 to Mr. Paul and Yula Mae Boudreaux Landry.  Larry was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur.  He loved to visit with his friends and family, and it wasn’t unusual to find him on his brother’s porch rocking and telling stories with the family.  He will be greatly missed by everyone he knew.

Larry Paul was a retired disabled police officer who served the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office and Lake Arthur Police Department in his younger years.  He was also a retired boat captain.

Services for Mr. Landry will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 in Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Jared Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. and continue until service time.

Mr. Landry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Loretta Landry; his brother Johnny (Sharon) Landry all of Lake Arthur and his sister Delores (Ron) Kellenbenz of Tyler, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Yula Landry; grandparents, Duas “Ky” Boudreaux and Julie Boudreaux and his great-nephew, Christopher Neal.
