Larry Joseph Trahan

Lake Arthur Funeral services for Mr. Larry Joseph Trahan, 61 will be held Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Visitation began on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. and will continue today until the time of service. Mr. Trahan died Wednesday, May 30, 2012. He was a native of Jennings and lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. He was employed as a floorhand for a drilling company. Mr. Trahan enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, bike riding and woodworking. He is survived by two daughters; Monica Pickering and husband Trey of West Monroe, LA, and Angela Brantley and husband Scott of Marion, LA, a son, Kevin Trahan and his special friend, Kristen Young of Jennings, a stepson; Byron Landry of Lake Arthur, two sisters; Barbara T. Bryant and husband Charles of Carencro, LA, and Janice Lee Trahan of Lake Arthur, two brothers; William David Bill Trahan and wife Jeanette of Lake Arthur and Steven James Trahan of LeBleu Settlement, and a grandson; Mark Dalane Redmond and a godchild; Mary Novell Prater. Mr. Trahan was preceded in death by his parents, Persey and Novell Mary Beard Trahan and a brother, Richard Lee Trahan.
