Funeral services for Mr. Larry James Dietz, 64, of Evangeline will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mitchell Gotte officiating.

Burial will be in the Dietz Cemetery near Iota under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mr. Dietz died at 12:48 a.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018 in a local hospital.

Mr. Dietz loved to hunt and fish.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Rochelle Aguillar Dietz, 3 sons, Chad (Lydia) Dietz of Hathaway, Steven Dietz of Evangeline and LJ (Brandi) Dietz of Evangeline; 1 sister, Diana Burton of Evangeline; 3 brothers, Russell Louviere of Evangeline, Pat Louviere of Iota and Jessie Dietz of Evangeline and 10 grandchildren.

Mr. Dietz is preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Frances Bergeaux Dietz and 3 sisters, Jackie Dietz, Peggy Miller and Viola Leckelt.
