Kristina Joyce Mott, 47 of Iowa passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at home. Ms. Mott will be cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Ms. Mott lived in the community for 2 ½ years. In her younger years she helped her grandparents run their “Burger House”. She was a volunteer firefighter for 5 years. She loved listening to all types of music and reading books.

She is survived by her daughters, Kala Jennings of Opelousas and Victoria Mott of Fenton as well as a son, Adam Mott of Fenton. Other survivors include three grandchildren and her stepfather David Knauss of Fenton.

Preceding her in death were her parents Terry Cason and Elizabeth Atwell and her grandparents Chuck and Joyce Burton.
