Kristen Emerson

Funeral services for Mrs. Kristen Rogers Emerson, 42, of Jennings, will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings, at 10:00 a.m. with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery in Lake Charles, LA under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

It will resume on Tuesday, at 8:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m.

Kristen was born on May 19, 1980, in Olean, NY to parents, Rex Rogers and Renita Manuel.  She grew up in Olean, New York most of her life and graduated High School in 1998 at Portville Central School in New York. She then attended vocational college before moving to Jennings in 2003. She later worked at the Jennings American Legion Hospital which was for over ten years.  She was currently employed as an office manager for Trico in Jennings.  Kristen enjoyed camping with her family, laughing and having a great time especially with her children and granddaughter.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 22 years, Steve Emerson; daughter, Aubrie Emerson; son, Collin Emerson, her parents, Rex Rogers and Renita (Keith) Manuel Lawrence, her brother, Aaron Rogers, her granddaughter, Meredith Barker

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Elsie Johnson and Bruce Manuel and her father-in-law, Steve Emerson.
