Keaghyn Ross Parsons

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Keaghyn Parsons, 3, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Msgr. Ronald Groth officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014; and 8:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday in the funeral home chapel. Keaghyn died at 5:21 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2014 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Keaghyn enjoyed watching crop dusters wave their wings at him, running through the house pretending to be Buzz Lightyear , riding on tractors, 4 wheelers, and horses, and playing with his dogs. Survivors include his father, David Ryan Parsons, his mother, Kacie Nicole Gary; step-father, Michael Fruge of Lake Arthur, step-mother, Brittney Prejean of Jennings; his sister, Zoey Parsons of Jennings; his brother, Hagan Fruge of Lake Arthur his maternal Nanna, Julia Cormier of Lake Arthur, maternal grandfathers Todd Gary of Jennings and Kelly Cormier of Jennings, paternal grandparents, Alice and Jerry Stutes of Egan, paternal great-grandparents, Ruth and Ronald Pousson of Egan, his Pop Pop, Chance LeBlanc of Lake Arthur; and his Uncle PJ Prejean of Evangeline and Uncle Brett Prejean of Jennings, Phillip Parsons and Adam Stutes, both of Egan; Cody Cormier, Trever and Aaron Fruge of Evangeline. Pallbearers will be Phillip Parsons, Adam Stutes, CJ Gary and Cody Cormier. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Parsons and Michael Fruge.
