Funeral services for Keagan Charles Shell, 23, of Lake Arthur will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur with Pastor Jerry Snider officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Visitation for Mr. Shell will begin at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 and will close at 10:00 p.m.  It will resume Thursday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Shell graduated from Barbe High School in 2014.  He was currently working as an operator in the oil industry.  He enjoyed playing football while in high school.  He was an avid fisherman, loved working at his job and hanging out with his family and friends, especially his brother Hayden.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Angie Milner Shell and Marvin Whitman of Lake Arthur; his dad and stepmother, Clayton and Millisa Shell of Lake Charles; a sister, Haley Nicole Milner of Jennings; one brother, Hayden Lane Shell of Welsh; one step-brother, Seth McBride of Moss Bluff; a niece and a nephew; grandparents, Dianna and Burnell Broussard of Lake Arthur, Bill and Minette Milner of Welsh, Janie Shell of Lake Charles, James Shell of Jennings, Rosa Carpenter of Moss Bluff.

Carrying him to his place of rest are pallbearers Trevor Pellerin, Taylor Pellerin, Gage Viator, Seth McBride, Keigan Istre and Hunter Milner.  Honorary pallbearer is Hayden Shell.
