Funeral services for Kayla Renee Duplechain, 33, of Lake Arthur, will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in the Miguez Funeral Home Lake Arthur Chapel at 2:00 p.m.  

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m.

Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Kayla was born on June 25, 1988, in Lafayette, LA.  She was a sitter in the Health Care industry.  She enjoyed crabbing, fishing, and Mardi Gras but most importantly, she loved and adored her children and family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Michelle (Curtis) Monceaux Bertrand of Ragley; father, Mike (Tammy) Duplechain of Lake Arthur; daughter, Jas’Lynn Duplechain; two sons, Damien and Justin Duplechain both of Lake Arthur; sister, Alisha Duplechain of Ragley; and one brother, Michael Duplechain, Jr. of Lake Arthur.

 She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Jan Monceaux, Leon and Peggy Duplechain.
