Funeral services for Kathleen Mary Neely, 44 of Jennings will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2016 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Donnie Venable officiating. Burial will be in Istre Cemetery in Mermentau under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 22 from 10:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume at 8:00 a.m. Friday morning.

Mrs. Neely lived in Jennings her entire life and worked as a medical receptionist. She loved working at her office and enjoyed visiting with the patients there. Spending time with her friends and family was important to Kathleen, but the loves of her life were her two sons, Matthew and Nocona.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Aaron Neely; her two sons Matthew Tucker of Lake Charles and Nocona Neely of Jennings; three sisters, Jane Griffith, Patricia Langley and husband Percy “Bosco”, and Mazie Griffith, all of Jennings; and one brother, Dr. Patrick Griffith and wife Hillary of Jennings; nieces Isabella Griffith, Sophia Griffith, and Avery Breaux; and nephews, Hanno Griffith, Hayes Patrick Griffith, Liam LeBlanc, Kendyl Breaux and Quinton (Daquari) Griffith.

Mrs. Neely was preceded in death by her parents, Hanno Griffith and Celimene “Sally” Monger Griffith and her mother-in-law, Faye Garrett.

Pallbearers will be Ivan Guillory, Terry Guillory, John Daigle, Robert Daigle, Quinton Griffith, Landon Benoit and James Langley.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregiver Sheryl Trahan.
