Kathleen Langley Lavergne

Kathy Lavergne, who loved to be called “Momma” by her kids, departed her loving family on April 25, 2021 at 7:50 a.m. in her residence surrounded by her family.

Kathy was born in Jennings on February 22, 1960 to Martha and Mike Mark Langley.  

Kathy was a wonderful mother to her three children, Heather (Toby) Comeaux, Nina Davis and Amanda (Adrienne) Hendrickson.

Kathy was known for her love of outdoors, her sassiness, coffee and most importantly the love she had for her family. Her hobbies included canning, cooking, going to the casino, feeding her chickens, shopping, and spending time with family. She was most proud of her kids and grandchildren.

She is survived by her three daughters; one sister, Marie (Eddie) Morvant; three brothers, Marvin (Lisa) Langley, Ray (Stephanie) Langley, Richard (Diane) Langley; six grandchildren, Kaleb Comeaux, Karly Comeaux, Kyle Comeaux, Jared Davis, Natalie Davis and KatieAnn Smith; and her nephews and nieces, Chris, Brandon, Holly, Ray Jr, Amy, Sarah, Emily, Shelly, Justin, Mark and Vickie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Martha Robinson Langley, and her brother Michael Langley.

A private service with cremation to follow will be held at Miguez Funeral Home.
