Judy A Broussard

Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Ann Rutledge Broussard, 69, will be held on Monday, September 5, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Tadlock officiating.

Visitation will begin on Monday at 10:00 a.m. and will continue until time of service a 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mrs. Broussard was born on March 18, 1953, to Daniel and Lita “Blondie” Bouley Rutledge, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Jennings. She was a Jennings High School graduate. She then married her sweetheart of 51 years, Donald Broussard. Judy loved and cherished her family and was deeply proud of her grandchildren.  She was a member of Bethel Church and served as a secretary for the church for many years before retiring.  She was very devoted to serving Jesus all of her life.

Mrs. Broussard is survived by her husband, Donald; 3 daughters,  Wendy (Dwayne) Miller of Jennings, Monica (Jason Sensat) Broussard of Jennings and Heather (Beau) Seamons of Lake Charles ; son, Donny Broussard of Sulphur ; sisters, Katherine Rutledge of Jennings and Faye Golden of Jennings ; Aunt Elsie Howard ; brother, Daniel (Linda) Rutledge of Jennings ; nephew, Todd Rutledge ; great-niece, Kaitlyn Rutledge ; grandchildren, Dwayne (DJ) Miller Jr., Layne Miller, Abbeygayle Miller, Hudson Sensat, and Julie and Ava Seamons.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Martha Rutledge and a brother, David Rutledge.
