Juanita Joyce Gary

Hathaway A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Juanita Joyce Doucet Gary, 77 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2010 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Rev. Joe McGrath officiating. Burial will be in the Raymond-Hathaway Community Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be Sunday, July 4, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Mike Tramel Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Scripture Service with the St. Lawrence Catholic Daughters. Monday visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Gary died Friday, July 2, 2010 at 9:20 a.m. in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. She was a native of Crowley and resident of Jennings for the past forty-one years. She was a homemaker, a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the St. Lawrence Catholic Daughters. Mrs. Gary was an excellent cook and loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Gary is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Kimberly) Fawcett of Hathaway; two sons, Michael Gary of Hathaway and Mark Gary and wife Annette of Hathaway; a sister, Beatrice Fuselier of Jennings and four grandchildren: Damien and Cody Fawcett and Trent and Kali Gary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Amelia Prejean Doucet; her husband, Edmund Gary and a brother, Theodore J. Gary. Pallbearers will be her two sons, Michael and Mark Gary; three grandchildren, Damien and Cody Fawcett and Trent Gary and her son-in-law, Robert Fawcett.
