Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Courville Miller, 85, of Jennings, will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Brother Brian Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Miller will begin Tuesday, September 19 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday morning visitation will resume at First Baptist Church of Jennings from 8:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m.

Mrs. Miller passed away Monday, September 18, at her residence in Jennings. She was born on November 25, 1931 in Jennings and lived here her entire life. She was a telephone operator and a loving wife to her husband and wonderful mother to her two daughters. She loved spending time with her family and she enjoyed reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Miller; her parents, Alexie Courville and Cecilia Prather Courville; two sisters, Doris Durio and Dorothy Crochet; and one brother, Jessie Courville.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Deborah (Shannon) Hebert of Baton Rouge and Ann (Roy) Robison of Jennings; one sister Linda (Joe)Taylor of Jennings; one brother, Donald (Lilly)Courville of Iota; four grandchildren, Shana Gueho of Gonzales, Shelly Hebert of Baton Rouge, Cason Robison of LeBleu Settlement, Ashley Hill of Jennings and seven great-grandchildren.
