Joyce Ann Arnold

Mrs. Joyce Ann Arnold, 76, of Welsh, passed away on August 27, 2023, in the Ochsner American Legion Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. 

The family has chosen to respect her wishes of cremation, under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. 

Joyce was born on December 05, 1946, in Thornwell, LA., to Edmuns Fontenot and Dora Lopez. She grew in the Lake Arthur most of her life, until recently moving to Welsh, LA., where she resided with her husband. She was a loving and caring person, who always had a glowing smile. She loved her family and cherished them dearly. She was also a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. 

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 24 years, Wilbert Arnold; her son, Lonzio (Annette) Cormier of Castle Rock, Colorado; grandchildren, Kyle, Lauren, and Erin. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; and six brothers.
