Funeral services for Mr. Joseph M. Faul, 81, of Jennings will be held Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Entombment will follow in Calvary Mausoleum under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Faul will begin on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Cursillo Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. It will continue Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

“Mr. Joe”, as he was affectionately known around Jennings, moved here from Opelousas 60 years ago. He was a businessman in this community for those 60 years and was a former President of the Jennings Chamber of Commerce. He was a 3^rd Degree Knight of Columbus, a Eucharistic Minister and very active in the Cursillo Group. Mr. Joe enjoyed traveling and dancing.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Simon Faul; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and David Portie of Jennings; Claudine and Dirk Deshotel of Iowa; Jeannette and Carl LeJeune of Lake Charles; a sister, Mary Alice Phillips of Church Point; a brother-in-law, Norris Simon of Crowley; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Mr. Faul was preceded in death by his parents, Jean Baptiste and Mary Virginia LaGrange Faul; brother, John Floyd Faul; sisters, Louvelle Bourque and Theresa Savoy and great-grandson Braydon Portie.
