LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Joseph D. Feverjean , 84, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2010 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. today, Thursday until time of services Friday. A rosary led by the Catholic Daughters will be recited at 7:00 p.m., today, Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Feverjean died at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Feverjean was a resident of Lake Arthur since 1972 moving there from Kaplan. He was a retired crane operator in the oil and gas industry and was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Edlore Laviolette Feverjean of Lake Arthur; one daughter, Sharon Rizzuto and husband Mike of Gueydan; three sons, Derrell Feverjean and wife Marilyn, Keith Feverjean and Clint Feverjean all of Lake Arthur; four sisters, Leonie LeMaire, Nola Landry and Hazel Broussard of Kaplan and Eula Mae Lormand of Crowley; one brother, J.C. Feverjean of Kaplan; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
