Funeral services for Mr. Jonathan Lee Duhon, 58, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.

Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur.

Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday; and 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.

Mr. Duhon died at 2:48 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018 in his residence in Lake Arthur.

He was a 10 year resident of Lake Arthur moving here from Lake Charles. He was a graduate of St. Louis High School and Sowela Technical College. He was a VP Systems Development Manager for JD Bank. He also worked for Lakeside National Bank from 1987 until merger with JD Bank in 1995. He was an Eagle Scout recipient, camp counselor at Camp Edgewood and was President of the Southwest Louisiana Tea Party. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Bambi Smith Duhon of Lake Arthur; mother, Netina Gillespie Duhon of Sulphur; step-daughter, Kristi (Shannon) Hoffpauir of Hayes; step-sons, Reggie (Rachell) Fontenot of Lake Arthur, Matthew (Tory) Fontenot of Lake Arthur; sister, Christine Steinert of Pensacola, FL; brothers, Mark Edward Duhon of Sulphur, LA, David Paul Duhon of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Haidyn Breshears, Johb Hoffpauir, Morgan and Devin Fontenot, Isabella and Maddie Fontenot and several nieces and nephews and two great nieces.

Mr. Duhon is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Jesse Duhon, Jr.

Pallbearers will be his brothers Mark Duhon, David Duhon; his nephews Ryan and David Paul Duhon; his step-son Matthew Fontenot and his grandson Devin Fontenot.

Honorary pallbearers will be his nephew Alexander Duhon; his grandsons Haidyn Breshears and Johb Hoffpauir; his son-in-law Shannon Hoffpauir and his step-son Reggie Fontenot.
