Jolyn Susan Broussard

Jennings Funeral services for Ms. JoLyn Hatten Broussard, 58, will be held today, Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings with Mr. Doug Broyles officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Lake Arthur. Ms. Broussard died Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 8:55 p.m. at her daughters residence. Visitation was held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Sunday. A Cursillo rosary was recited Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Jennings/Lake Arthur area. She was a homemaker and a former member of the Church of Christ. Ms. Brousssard enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and having her hair and nails done. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ms. Broussard is survived by her daughter, Torrey L. Klein and her husband, Kevin of Jennings; two sons, Travis Broussard and his wife, Cassie of Hathaway, Trever Brousssard and his wife, Brooke of Jennings; two sisters, Sharon Trahan and husband Ronald of Jennings, Darlene Mouton and husband, Mike of Jennings; a special niece, Shyla Mouton of Jennings and four grandchildren; Tristan and Trey Broussard, Tresslyn Landry and Tatum Brousssard. Ms. Brousssard was preceded in death by her parents, Jiggs and Vi Istre Hatten and a brother, Raymond Hatten.
