Johnathon Wade Myers

JENNINGS Funeral services for Johnathon Wade Myers, 27, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2009 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Freeland officiating. Funeral home visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. today, Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh under direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Mr. Myers died at 7:20 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2009 at a friends residence in Jennings. Mr. Myers was a lifelong resident of the Welsh/Jennings area. He was a Security Officer for USA Environmental, loved playing football and liked spending time with friends. Survivors include his parents, Stephen Scott Myers of Jennings and Andrea Blank Myers of Welsh, one sister, Whitney Paige Myers of Welsh; two brothers, Zachary Scott Myers, and Noah Stephen Myers both of Jennings; paternal grandparents, Steve and Yvonne Myers of Jennings; Godparents J.C. Blank and Mavy Blank Broussard; one niece, Abigail LeJeune and one nephew Carson Myers both of Jennings. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John C. and Eula Mae Blank. Pallbearers will be Zachary Scott Myers, Noah Stephen Myers, Paul David Davenport, Coach Shawn Demeritt, Keyomi Omar James Palfrey, William Robert Myers, John Brent McGee and Leonard Jude Dupuis. Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Paul Dautreuil and Jason Bolles.
