John "Keith" Royer

John Keith Royer, 58, of Carlyss passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 in local hospital.

Keith was a heavy equipment foreman and retired from Bollinger Shipyard. He enjoyed fishing and working with his hands.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Frances Royer; son, Arron Royer; daughter Wendy Richard and her husband, Dustin; grandchildren, Kerissa and Hunter; sisters, Cindy Bourque, Donna Reyes and her husband Mario; and Stephanie Boudreaux; nephews, Ryan Bourque and wife Tori, and Kevin Bourque and wife Darlene; and a niece, Santana Reyes.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Boudreaux; stepfather, Leroy Boudreaux; and brother-in-law, Robert “Tiny” Bourque.

Keith’s life will be celebrated 10am, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Carlyss. Pastor Marcus Wade will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 8pm, Tuesday and First Baptist Church of Carlyss and resume 8 – 10am, Wednesday.
