 Funeral services for Mr. John Hebert, 89, of Lake Arthur, will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with James Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Hebert will begin on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. and continue until the 1:00 p.m. service time.

Mr. Hebert was born on August 7, 1934, in Klondike to Gabriel Hebert, Sr. and Edna Mae Adams Hebert.  He was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur.  John loved hunting and spending time at the Lake Arthur Hunting Club.  He was an avid fisherman, and he enjoyed spending time working in his garden.  John was a product of the area he was born in, a lover of all things outdoors and many considered him to be a “Man’s Man”.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Ann Benoit Hebert; daughters, Pamela Hebert Lenord (Lester Ledoux), Sheila (Tony) Pershall, Robin (Glenn) Winfield, Jessica Kratzer; sons, Danny (Brenda) Hebert, Johnny  (Emma) Hebert, Jody (Linda) Guidry, Timothy Guidry; and eighteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother, and Shawna Brasseaux.
