John Deaville

August 12, 1970 — December 16, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of John Wesley Deaville, 52, of Jennings, announces his passing on December 16, 2022.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Keith Pellerin officiating.

Visitation for Mr. Deaville will begin on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m. after which preparations to leave for the church will begin at 2:30 p.m. 

Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

John was born on August 12, 1970, to Norman and Geneva Deaville in Jennings, Louisiana.  He was a lifelong resident of this area. He was a 1988 graduate of Jennings High School and attended UL where he was member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.  He was also a dedicated and faithful member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. He was working in New Orleans as a control room operator for G.I.S./Shell.

John cherished his time with his family more than anything.  He found great joy in spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Ellie.  He was looking forward to the arrival of his grandson, Cooper John.  John had a big heart and everyone who knew him loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Tracy Miller Deaville; mother, Geneva (Ronnie) Guillory; son, Keagan (Macee) Deaville; sisters, Tina Luntsford, Kristie Anderson, Kaley Castro, Kendra Mitchell, Angie LaPoint, Connie Patrick; brothers, Trevor Deaville, Scott Guillory; and granddaughter, Ellie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Deaville; maternal grandparents, Wesley and Ruby Gotreaux; paternal grandparents, John and Lydia Deaville; brother, Shannon Guillory; and cousins, Starlet Gotreaux and Donette Gary.

Pall bearers will be Keagan Deaville, Bubba Darbonne, John Griffin, Pratt Doucet,

Bryan LeBlanc, Randall Chaisson, J. W. Gotreaux and Jody Fontenot.  Honorary pallbearers are Kyle LeJeune, Trey Myers and Tyler Myers.
