Funeral services for John David Prejean, 36, will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Keith Pellerin officiating. A burial will follow in Greenwood cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. and go on until the time to leave for the Church at 1:45 p.m.  A rosary will be recited at 1:00 p.m.

John Passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024.  He was born on January 6, 1988, in Jennings, LA to David Prejean and Patti Myers Ardoin.

He loved to draw and had a gift of artistry and carpentry.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends but most importantly, he loved and cherished every moment spent with his two boys.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Lucas and Aaron Prejean; stepson, Cameron Anderson and their mother Alicia; his mother, Patti Myers Ardoin; father, David Prejean; and his paternal grandmother; Jackie Prejean.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Misti Myers; his paternal grandfather, John S. Prejean; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Myers; and his stepdad, Jerry Ardoin.
