Jody Lejeune Speight

JENNINGS A memorial service for Jody LeJeune Speight, 55, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Burial will be in the Bertrand Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Jody died Monday, November 24,2014 at her residence. Jody was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a Jennings High School graduate. She was a very creative, artistic person. She worked with stained glass and stepping stones. She loved to ride her motorcycle and to listen to music. Survivors include her mother, Kathleen “Kat” Godeaux LeJeune of Jennings; and four sisters, Claudette Steele of McComb, MS, Lawana Abarca, Charlotte Whittington and Karen LeJeune all of Jennings. She is preceded in death by her father, Sherman “Duley” Joseph LeJeune.
