A Gathering of Friends and Family honoring the Life of Jocelyn Corrine Monceaux, 40 of Oberlin will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings, Louisiana.

Ms. Monceaux passed away on October 6, 2021, unexpectedly at her home.

She enjoyed doing crafts and raising plants.  She also enjoyed spending time with her fur baby, Roosevelt.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents James Rickey Monceaux of Elton and Martina Tietje Monceaux of Jennings; a sister, Danielle Marie Monceaux of Lafayette and two brothers, Brandon Monceaux of Alexandria, Corey Monceaux of Oberlin and the light of her life, her godchild, Blayden Blaker and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Gerre Tietje; her paternal grandfather, Weston Monceaux, Sr and step-grandfather, Dreau Granger and one uncle, Mark Tietje.

Cremation will follow the visitation under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

The family asks that donations in Jocelyn’s memory be made to the Arthritis Foundation or West Behavioral Scholarship Fund of Jennings.
